Founded in 1979, Lifco has steadily grown to be one of the leading independent manufacturers of lift components and general fabricated assemblies. As a family-run business, Lifco promises their clients personal service from enquiry through to design, manufacture, and completion. Among a variety of CNC service lines, Lifco particularly stands out in the processing of elevator parts.
The main structure of the elevator consists of the car body, traction part, control system, automatic door, and safety system. Elevators use a significant amount of steel plates for various components such as doors, cars, pedal transmission parts in escalators, and sidewalls. Laser cutting technology has proven to be a cost-effective approach and is primarily used for processing these parts. In addition to its capacity to cut a variety of materials, including metal sheets, aluminum, brass, copper, and stainless steel, this high precision technique also enables the creation of decorative elements for high-end elevators.
Lifco’s own metal manufacturing facility is powered by two Bodor P series sheet metal lasers. The star lineup features a P3 22kW machine as well as a P3 12kW machine with iTrans automated device.
Specifically, the 22kW model is capable of processing material up to 70mm thick with a cutting accuracy of 0.1mm. With automatic loading and unloading systems, Lifco is able to provide lights out production for thinner section components, eventually leading to a vastly improved delivery time and responsive customer service.
With an acceleration of 4G, Bodor P series is a top choice for sheet metal fabricators across the globe. Besides elevator manufacturing, high power P series machines are particularly applicable to large-scale components for steel bridges, pressure vessels, construction machinery, special vehicles, and ship containers.
Through the installation of both P series machines, Bodor assists the Lifco team in setting up machine parts and managing production processes, providing reliable and trustworthy customer services. As anticipated, the Bodor P series has enhanced the company’s competitive advantage in elevator parts manufacturing and the laser cutting business.
